Don’t Surf Logged Into Google!!!

A friend of mine recently got back from this years Defcon is Las Vegas. He’s been going for a few years now, and its always good to pick his brain when he gets back to find out about some cutting edge hacks. This year, he let me know about an exploit involving Google. Apparently staying logged into Google while you surf is quite dangerous!

Preventing SSH Timeouts

Over on my personal blog, All For Fdask, I’ve mentioned how I just moved into a new house.  There’s four of us in the place that all share an internet connection, and for the first time in years, I’m behind a couple daisy chained routers.

This poses a bit of a problem for SSH sessions and causes your connections to timeout very frequently.  If you aren’t sitting on a screen that is refreshing often, you’ll be kicked eventually.  Read on to find out how to fix this!
