I seem to have struck an Iceberg!

one comment

So reading through emails to one of my throwaway accounts, I saw one mentioning something about Iceberg.  Now, years ago I worked for a company that had a music service called Iceberg, so thinking it might be that, I opened it up.

I was wrong!  This Iceberg is an ASP.NET based engine meant to run on Windows IIS server.  *insert disappointment here*  From the web page, I gather its some application platform that allows you to customize it and create applications with little or no coding! They’ve just recently launched, and have a blog discussing things here.

I’m always up for a new dev toy, but ASP isn’t my world.  I’m going to have to take a pass on this one!

  1. C# is actually a pretty decent language, and it’s fun to play around with. I think Objective-C/Cocoa is more fun to play around with though, especially with the new XCode.

But if you’ve got the free time, playing with an asp.net thingy could be a fun side project.
